iphoneduo.wiki is an independent, single-subject reference site about the iPhone Duo, Apple's first foldable iPhone.^[1] It is written in the style of an encyclopedia article and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. iPhone is a trademark of Apple Inc.

Every factual sentence on this site carries a citation to a source listed on the References page.^[2] Text is written in neutral third-person voice. Marketing language is paraphrased and attributed ("Apple states that…"), not repeated. Claims that appear only in a single unconfirmed source are labelled rather than presented as settled, and claims for which no source exists are left out. Nothing on this site is copied from Apple's marketing copy or from press articles; short quotations, where used, are attributed and kept to a few words.

The site does not accept payment from Apple, Samsung, Google or any other manufacturer. Pages are dated with the build date of the site, shown in the footer as "last edited". The domain was registered on 9 September 2026, the day of Apple's announcement, and no page claims a history earlier than that.

Paragraphs and table cells that do not rest directly on Apple's own published material begin with a small label. The labels are:

• OFFICIAL Stated by Apple in its press release, product page or specification sheet. Most sentences on the site fall into this class and carry no label; the chip is shown only where the source of a claim might otherwise be unclear.
• DOCUMENTED Reported by a named secondary source such as MacRumors, Tom's Guide, PhoneArena or Gizbot, or stated in a public post by a named account, and consistent across sources.
• TESTED Measured or observed in an independent hands-on review or teardown. As of 10 September 2026, no such tests have been published, so this label is not yet in use.
• INFERRED A conclusion drawn by this site's editors from the sources, such as the sentiment estimate in the public-reaction section. The method is described on this page.
• UNKNOWN Not published by Apple and not established by any other source, for example the crease depth and the battery capacity in mAh.
• UNVERIFIED Reported by a single source, or by a source that could not be checked, and not confirmed by Apple, for example the 12 GB RAM figure.

Labels are reviewed when new sources appear; an UNVERIFIED claim becomes DOCUMENTED or TESTED when confirmed, and is removed if contradicted.

The "Public reaction" section of the main article draws on a review of posts on X between 4 and 10 September 2026 that mentioned the iPhone Duo.^[3] Search estimates put the number of original posts at roughly 96,000 in that period, almost all on the day of the announcement. From these, the editors read a sample of 112 posts, excluding spam, giveaways and duplicates, and coded each as positive, negative or neutral by hand. The resulting split, roughly 35 to 40 percent positive, 30 to 35 percent negative and the rest neutral, is an estimate from a small sample and is labelled INFERRED. Individual posts cited on the site are linked directly so that readers can check the wording.

To report an error, request a correction, or ask for a source to be added, email editors@iphoneduo.wiki with the page URL and the sentence concerned. Corrections that change a fact are applied with a new citation; requests without a source are noted as open questions.
